Hi,

And sorry if this has been asked before (which I’m pretty sure of) :

  • what are the benefits of being commander apart from kicking someone, promoting him (= make him commander, is that it ?) or adding a slot by paying HP ?
  • I play on Steam and have clocked 1200+ hours on it, pretty much addicted, but never spent a cent on it. My outdated phone doesn’t allow me to play on it. When I buy a new phone, will I be able to transfer my account on it, or better, be able to play on both with the same account ? Because I’m definitely not starting over !
  • when you look at the covers you’ve won, what are the stars in the upper right corner on some of them ?
  • will it be possible to share covers, ISO, etc. between Steam and mobile players ? That would be cool for alliance teammates

The star in the corner is the recruit option on the cover. It allows you build another copy of the character.

Commander means you run the alliance so you can do what you want with it.
I do not believe you can play on both versions. I wish you could. On an iPad your account is backed up via Facebook, not sure about steam account.
Stars show the level of character they are. 1* are weakest, 4* are the best. 1* also more common, 4* least common.
Sharing covers would be sweet but doubt they will do this. Less money for them on foolish people buying packs!

Andy, about the stars, I meant what OnesOwnGrief answered.

On Steam, your progress is saved on the Steam Cloud. Shame about the compatibility of both versions though…

If you are a Commander you can not get kicked off either… just another benefit

Or a curse to others if you decide to stop doing PvP and stick to PvE.

The star shows that you have max covered a character.

The result is 2 options:

  1. you drop one of the characters covers for the new one (i.e drop Thor red for Thor green)
  2. you recruit a new copy with that character, so you have 2 in your roster. 1 with maxed covers the other with 1

Ummm no. This isn’t true in even the slightest way.

The little star gives you the option of recruiting another copy of a character even though your current copy/copies don’t have that specific cover already maxed.

Let’s say you get a green MStorm cover in your rewards queue:

  • If you don’t have an MStorm already: Recruit button & no ★.
  • If you have an MStorm with five green (5/x/x): Recruit button & no ★.
  • If you have an MStorm with less than five green: Train button & YES ★.

Can’t speak to it personally, but I believe that I have read here about members who switched their Steam account to mobile, but once they did Steam was gone. There is no option to link one account to both playing methods.
