I have been using Doom and Cage since their weekly buff but I don’t see how this will work with Patch. If the enemy Patch unleashes his Green power, wouldn’t that overwrite my purple trap tiles?
Yes, but your Patch won’t overwrite your own purple traps. If there’s enough purple traps on the board, you can fire Berserker Rage with little drawback.
i used to think they would overwrite my own too, but your own abilities won’t overwrite your own traps - only realized that within the last few months. they will, however overwrite opposing doom traps
colossus - i think you saw it post that you overwrote the opposing trap - it shouldn’t overwrite your own.
Love the game, just signed up cause I’m having some trouble with matchups in this event. I played 2-3 matches and now my matchups are WAY overpowered compared to my team. Im talking 90+ and 145+ characters against my team (My biggest level guys are a 1 Cover Red Hulk, a 1 Cover X-23, a 1 cover Nick Fury and then probably my 2 star Thor.)
Is there anything I can do? I go in and try fighting these guys but get wiped pretty quick.
Same thing is happening in Starfall and SHIELD events. I literally can’t compete with any of the teams out there.
You may want to skip those challenges and try to get some match ups at your level.
Also, I would suggest you to take a look at the Tips and Guides section to get a quick idea of how and when you should start making your way in PvP.
That’s usually a sure sign of having a 5* on your roster, but without them?
At what levels are your highest actual playable heroes? My 130s are seeing 270s these days since I made the mistake of rostering $$, so your discrepancies are matching mine, but I’m guessing your 4*s are still at L70, so 145+ is a bit perplexing…
I will also tell you that the Simulator is the absolute worst for me, and I’ve read similar reports from others, so there’s that.
Are you in a position to level your 2s to equal your 4s? While your experience is troubling on what appears to be a more complex level, that would be a quick solution short-term. If you could end up with 3-6 heroes leveled evenly and in line with your highest levels, it would at least “level” you out a bit.
Oh wow, first time I’ve leveled up Patch to get him into contention for a pvp and his boosted Berserker Rage straight into a boosted five cover Settlement from my 153 She-Hulk is a level of murder I have never seen the like of before. I just one shot a reasonably leveled 4
Thoress in one match. I only went into that one as it was +67 points so I didn’t mind losing. Mind kinda boggled right now.
Even unbuffed, Loki as a third wheel is unusually effective, arguably unfairly effective. Recall that 2 star magneto was nerfed as an unintended consequence of mystique.
Patch and Loki, in my view are a similar pairing that are absolutely nuclear. Add in a loaded 3 star magneto and you have a truly nasty, but seemingly innocuous team.
I had been using a fully pinned patch / cage / hulk. Hulk’s effectiveness as a tank is pretty much negated though. I ran into a buzzsaw with a team with some < 140 loki. Really pleased. Lol.
