Anyone else notice the change in the sound? Used to be this bloodcurdling ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Now it sounds like a little kid practicing karate. Why the change? Makes me sad. I love bloodcurdling noises like that and the banshee off of mass effect 3. Weird I know

Me too! I had to reinstall recently and when the game started it was blaring music and sound effects. I was like “Aaaah! What the fuck is that?! Make it stop!”.
I always play without sound too (can’t very well play on the underground or so with the sound on, and besides, it eats up way too much juice). Need to try it again with sound, I completely forgot what music and effects are like.
Haha. I’m one of the silent players also. I have to hide from my wife the fact how often I play this game so playing without sound is standard procedure in my home. I wonder how many players actually play MPQ with sound muted…
I turned off all in-game audio months and months ago. I prefer play with my own music or in sweet sweet silence. When this game will have more than two tracks I will play with sound again. Maybe.
Yeah, I rarely play matching games with sound, except maybe Bejeweled Blitz, since that has timed matches.
Yup. sounds doesnt actually add anything to this game, forgot it even had it. Im surprised anyone uses it on a match 3 game, why not listen to your own thing rather then their shitty sound? Does it really add anything for anyone?
I do not play with sound, in fact it annoys me; and She hulk is the worst. I play my game since January exclusively in silence…I mean, except for the sound of my own voice commemorating a victory or cursing the game every time a tinykitty cascade slaughters my team, or there’s a goddamn update during a match. The devs should stop those updates, because my team gets hurt like hell. Any game sound would be a melody compared to what I say on those occasions.
I love game sounds. Not the game music but the sounds. With MPQ sometimes I like the sound so much I act it out while I play. Ares has that effect.
She-Hulk was the best. I leveled her up so fast and played her over and over just to hear her scream . . . and now I get a weak ass grunt. So sad. Still love the character but now a little tear trickles down my cheek every time I hear her fractured vocal chords.
If Moonstone can look like a bad porn star having an orgasm when she attacks then She-Hulk should be able to scream all she wants.

Steam player here. I always play with sound on. Also music. I rarely listen to my own music while playing. Sometimes I listen to podcasts and turn the music down.
Btw, her red power sound was interesting. I played with her when she was given as a “part of your team” in one of the nodes. It was like a witch having a seizure or something. I didn’t hate or I didn’t like it. It was pretty distinct. I don’t know her new sound effect, so I can’t compare.
