Did I have a fevered dream? Was there a shiny, shimmering Victory banner that lasted for just a handful of days about 6 or 7 years ago?
Maybe – but it sounds kinda awesome… Like the end of Star Wars, or something.
I remember it being in game for like, a day.

The patch went live on 11/02/15, and the release notes were updated on 11/04/15 to note that the banner was being removed.

Are we at a later date yet? It seems like many in that thread liked the change. Of course, if the banner were instituted now, a number of users would request that it be an optional change (though if it’s too flashy, then that would be a responsible setting).
