I have 375 HP and need 400 for a slot. I’m not paying for the game. Sorry; I know I’m cheap.
Moving on:
I have a lazy cap cover that I’ll lose in 7 days, so the 400-point reward of 25 HP will clinch his slot for me.
Characters I am considering dropping:
Xforce (1 red cover)
Falcon (2 blue 2 purple)
Doom (1 blue 1 black)
Hawkeye (5/5/3 full build but only lvl 31)

I don’t follow. Why do you need to drop anyone, if you’re going to get the 25HP you need to open the slot?
But if you insist, drop the XForce… it’ll be forever until you get enough covers and ISO to make him usable (assuming they ever do get around to buffing him).
I have to play combined arms to get the 25 for the slot. It’s a catch-22.
That’s what I thought about xforce… I have better red abilities with him at level 70, too…
Why can’t you play combined arms now? You have a 3* already with Doom and Falcon, so what would dropping one of them for Cap do?

I have no 1s. I need to empty a slot for the 1. When I get 25 more HP, I will have an extra slot for LCap. I will keep that 1* and LCap and drop the 1* when the tourney is done.

X force < 1000 Iso it is a simple equation.
Agree. Sell Xfarce and roster Black Widow as your 1*, if you aren’t going to level her then her powers are best at low level. Go for 500 points, for a Jonny Storm cover and add that roster spot. GL.
Did you finish all of the prologue? Because there’s HP in them thar nodes.
What day are you on? Everyday that ends with ‘1’ you get 25HP from the Daily Rewards. Any other day, there’s a 1 in 8 chance you’ll get 50.

I have gotten all of the hp possible in pve. Fortunately, I managed to get to the 400 mark and now have two 1*s until this is over. I went with IM30 and storm as juggs overlaps too much with wolvie and Thor’s colors.
I might take you up on the MBW idea, though I need more of her covers to make her viable. 
I just glanced over that thread. I’ll look through it again. Sadly, I am not near a 1. Oh well. Xforce’s #1 tourney requirement is too extreme to be feasible for me anyway. I just happened to luck out that one time…
Yeah drop Xforce… as it is I wouldn’t worry about losing him… not just from the stand point that he’s complete crap at the moment but you will also receive 3 covers for him just from the daily rewards once you reach day 150 and up.. so you’ll technically get him back if you keep playing anyway.. win, win situation…
