I think it’s common knowledge that Spiderman has the best rogues for Marvel like Batman does for DC, but considering the lack of villains in general, is it necessary for spidey to have the most villains? Looking at the already low number of villains, he definitely has the most reps (Venom, Doc Ock, Carnage, Kingpin (not really exclusive, but still synonymous). Yet, most of the topics on the character suggestion board are his villains. So do you think any additional spiderman villains should be added, given his popularity, or should other series’ villains be added? Personally, I think some of spidey’s villains can be kind of lame, I mean most are just animal inspired like lizard, scorpion, rhino, chameleon, the owl, vulture, and kraven, but some like classic venom, hobgoblin, and mysterio should definitely be included. I don’t think anyone’s going to argue that there needs to be more villains, but what do you think?

and pretty sure the mutants have more villains total than the entire rest of the marvel universe combined…they have team after team of random weird villains coming after them all the time, heck half the time they end up villains at some point, and the villains end up good guys…

I would have put Doom first, as a personal preference.. BUT currently in Secret Wars, he is the hero of the entire multi-verse, so technically not even a villain anymore.. and many times before that.. so i would actually re-classify him as sort of an anti-hero..
I would even settle for villains that “clone” existing hero sets with different names, and are nonplayable, just to have more variety on what we’re facing since 99% of the content seems to be themed for hero vs villain, with the exception of Prodigal Son.

I spec’d out a dozen spider-man villains, from Agent Venom, Black Cat, two Rhinos, Mysterio, Vulture, Sandman, Lizard, and more.
The most boggling one to spec out is Chameleon. How do you make him a clone but not exactly Mystique?
