When you pull from a cover they give you a quick sneak peak! If you use a standard token and it’s a rare cover you get a GOLD cover flash then the cover itself. I actually kinda like it. Extra flair. Same goes for standard covers, uncommons and super rares. Gives you an extra fuzzy feeling when you use a standard token and pull a c.mags blue. Only thing that can make it better is if everytime you did that fireworks blow up in your name and dominos delivered a fresh cheese pizza to your door. Thanks Devs! These kind of changes I like!
Hasn’t this existed for weeks if not months? If you pull a 3* for example it first shows you a card with gold SHIELD logo on it. Or are you describing some new animation introduced today?
This mechanic has been in the game for awhile… R49 I believe?
The picture that appears when redeeming a token represents the star rarity of the awarded cover, regardless of the type of token used to obtain the cover.
1 Cover* - Silver cover with a star emblem. 2** Cover- Silver cover with a S.H.I.E.L.D. emblem. 3*** Cover - Gold cover with a S.H.I.E.L.D. emblem. 4**** Cover - 2 frame recurring animation with frame 1 showing the 3*** gold/S.H.I.E.L.D. cover and frame 2 showing the S.H.I.E.L.D. emblem recessed into the cover and glowing rays of light escaping from being the emblem in all directions, similar to a Heroic Token.
