Thank you for the snowy start screen and the box of gifts (empty as I don’t have tokens stored there, but still). Much appreciate the effort…
Or maybe you could have put the effort in fixing the “randomnes” of pulls, or -200 point fights in PVP, or sick guantlet scaling, or too many character released with too much grind needed even for one cover or the alliance being droped from 35 to 102 in the last hour of an event, or… (please dear members of this forum add your “or” that was better investment of time than snow on the load screen).
Do you really believe the same guys who work on the artworks would have coded stuff to fix scaling, token mechanics or whatever else needs fixing if they hadn’t been busy adding snowflakes?
I’m a software developer and I couldn’t do artwork to save my life and the same is usually true the other way around.
No - I don’t believe it’s the same guy. I just would prefer they would invest the resources (be it time or money) given for this magnificent design to improve the features of the game that start to make it unplayable.
This game is an addiction to me and many others around. I keep asking them to improve but maybe they shouldn’t and I can be unhooked without regret…
Hey, they added Tippy Toe to her icon! What more do you want? Besides, let’s not ignore the real offender here: Iceman. Notice they chose a pose for the load screen that doesn’t display his unsettling soulless eyes?
The snow amused me, and I even showed it to my cat, who licked the iPad’s screen in a nasty fashion to show her approval. What made me share this little tidbit is that right after that I did that, I opened two tokens; one Prodigal Sun Token and one Heroic token. BOTH were Iceman covers! (a blue and a green, bringing Mr. Ice to 1/1/1). Apparently the RNG favored my cat’s display of snow-approval.
