I had heard Daken was the next release, but then Falcon came out first, plus the Nick Fury Sneak Peek popped up. Do we have any further word about whether Daken is still planned for the next release?

We complained bitterly when they released two 3*’ (Gold) characters in a row. I like the idea of Über Daken, but he can take his sweet time getting here.
I hope they never release lazy daken. PVE is gonna be freaking nightmare.
Lazy Daken + Lazy Bullseye + Falcon = The War for Tilespace.
He’s due out right after the Spider-Man Nerf.
It would also lead to the longest possible slog of a game.
My assumption was falcon was released 1st partially as a Dakken counter.
His blue will swipe dakkens tiles right away and I also noticed when The countdown tile is destroyed the buddy comes right back. You also have L cap, mag c, and many other good Dakken counters.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s prolly the toughest opponent especially scaled up in Pve and he can be seriously annoying but we at least have a few good options to go against him.
First off, it was supposedly stated at c2e2 that L Dakon would be altered as to not be as annoying as his 2* counterpart. Second, Dakon makes two strike tiles per green match, Falcon only removes one strike tile every fourth turn. I don’t know, but in my book, that’s hardly a counter to Dakon, but that’s just me.
Not saying you can negate every tile he puts out. Just saying a decently levelled falcon would be quite a big help. Especially if you are running something like falcon patch spidey where falcons yellow is juicing up spideys protect tiles while gathering ap for spideys heal.
Spideys pink is making protect tiles while gathering ap for falcons pink. That already gives them 2 colors to double dip on, on top of patch and his tiles also being buffed by falcon. So yellow would be kind if a triple dip.
Kinda went off topic there but sheesh that is gonna be 1 insane team.
I’ve been eagerly awaiting him myself. Lord knows I’m gonna try my darnest to get him. I think, if I know how this is gonna work, next PvE is Oscorp Heroic, which would coincide perfectly with a 3* Daken release. So I am definitely stoked.

I too hope he was really dropped. And wasting Ep 4.5 on him would be real shame too. It should bring one of those gal silhouettes.
Daken is still coming up soon. The other characters teased are on the upcoming list as well, but that doesn’t mean they’ve been slotted for particular slots.

Since the devs have said they’re tweaking his powers more than previous golds, I’m willing to give him and them the benefit of a doubt (though I still intend to refer to him as Scumbag Daken).
I noticed Loki is a reward in the Punisher Army of one. Does that mean we will be seeing some incoming Loki’s buff’s or a third cover? Because he is such a perfect counter to Daken I wondering if this was a way to balance? one can only hope!!!
A lot of people are still waiting on the buffs to Hawkeye and Wolverine X-Force that were announced four months ago.
