Softlock after claiming rewards

  • Platform: iOS (could be on others too but this is what i’m playing on) (edit: iPadOS 17.5.1, on an ipad 6th gen)

This has been an issue for a while, I’ve experienced it myself a few times but also seen others mention it. It’s just infrequent because of the infrequency of the repro steps. I can’t find it reported in the forums though.

After starting the game I was retroactively awarded shards/covers for Hotpool. When clicking ‘claim’ however, the screen greyed out as if there was a popup overlay. However nothing was shown.

The only fix was to force-close the app and restart it.

  • Not sure if this happens with for retroactive awards only
  • Clicking in some places when you’re stuck does open the rostered character screen which works correctly, but upon closing you’re still stuck in the same screen. This would imply there should be popup modal shown but it’s invisible.

Claiming Nova retro rewards this is still an issue.

This is still happening, nothing dramatic but surely annoying, any fix on the horizon?

Yeah I just had it with the Agatha Harkness rewards again. R311.

I’m on Android and the same thing happens to me.

It’s been happening to me too on Android.

But I’m able to fix it by hitting the ‘back’ button even though it doesn’t look like it would do anything, it removes the modal.

Was going to say the same thing but it happens first thing in the morning here and I wasn’t sure if I’d dreamed that!
