softlock with warden and azorius skyguard [Investigating]

I had 3 creatures, elspeth token creature, azorius skyguard, and indulging patrician. Tried to cast warden (the reverse of warrant) on top of indulging patrician, resulting in a spinning explosion in the middle of the screen and azorius skyguard gaining +3/+3 then a lockup. Loop timer came and went.
