Sorry if dumb question but are there “board clear” cards?

Once I lose the board I have a hard time wiping it or gaining back control.

There are a few “destroy all _” cards but they are for the most part rare or mythic (actually I think they all are). Good luck finding any

The ultimate reset being the great Aurora. P

Well their are cards in each color that can clear the board.

White - Hour of Revelation (Not Lootable but should be)… Mythic

Blue - Displacement Wave… Rare

Black - Bontu’s Last Reckoning… Rare

Red - Chandra’s Ignition and Hour of Devastation… both Mythic

Green - The Great Aurora… Mythic

Odd thing is white and green have identical ability but white which is top notch in paper with cards like this and green usually doesn’t get into the all die territory and is best in accel but white’s cost 3 more.

White also has Fumigate, which is a rare card.

Missing a few, but it’s a fairly good list. Black has the one-sided eliminate the competition (rare) that may or may not be tricky to use if you can’t get anything to stick on your board for the cast or take the life hit. White also has consulate crackdown if it’s a support issue. As well as the white gearhulk.
Aethersquall ancient in blue.

There are more if you branch into the SOI/EM and legacy blocks (engulf the shore, crush of tentacles, descend upon the sinful, etc).

Languish is a black rare.

Also:

White has Cataclysmic Gearhulk, destroys all your other creatures, all your opponent’s creatures, and all supports, and it has Tragic Arrogance that leaves you and your opponent with one creature of your choosing. And while not exactly a wipe, Hixus will disable all your opponent’s creatures till the support is destroyed once they’ve hit you.

Green kind of has one in Overcome, gives all your guys +8/+8, berserker and trample, but this is only helpful if you have enough creatures large enough to take out your opponent’s creatures.

Red also has Glorious End, which is a mythic with similar effect to Overcome. Still requires you to have creatures though, so may not be what the OP is looking for.

Other cards that may not be absolute board wipers, but have a mass effect:

Incendiary Sabotage (red uncommon): Destroy a support you control then each creature your opponent controls on the battlefield takes 4 damage. https://mtgpq.info/cards/IncendiarySabotage

Sweltering Suns (red rare): Each creature takes 6 damage. https://mtgpq.info/cards/SwelteringSuns

Yahenni’s Expertise (black rare): Each creature gets -5/-5 until the beginning of your next turn and the first creature in your hand with a cost of 6 or less gains full mana. https://mtgpq.info/cards/YahennisExpertise

@James13 I figured I missed some but was just naming a few off the top of my head.

You guys missed the best board wipe… Wrath of God White - 7 mana - Masterpeice.

Rolling Thunder is an uncommon red spell from the Battle For Zendikar set. It deals 2 damage to your opponent and all their creatures has the Awaken ability, but rather then make a land-creature it bumps the power from 2 damage to 6. Its a little costly to get the awaken, but it gets the job done

use this great resource to search all cards and planeswalkers

White also has Descend Against the Sinful (mythic / Legacy)
