Spite champing dilemma

Sue Storm & Elektra are (of course) the only ones of my 4* who could put me in this situation.

Current ISO bank: about 266k.

Elektra: 3/4/5, one red on the vine in 2.5 days and the reward from 183 Daredevil coming tomorrow or Wednesday.

Sue: citizen of Thirteenlandia; level 150. Just pulled another of her covers from my end-of-season rewards.

The status of my 2* farm makes collecting enough for both of them unlikely. (90 minute drive to work doesn’t leave one lots of MPQ time.)

Without checking, I don’t think any of my other 4* has more than 11 covers (Fezzik and maybe 4clops). Hate to throw the covers away. Suggestions?

You can extend the time for Elektra a bit by waiting to give DD his champ level until the cover is about to expire. Dunno if that makes any difference.
Still though… if you have no other fourstar Champs I can’t really recommend starting with Elektra and Invisible Woman. You’re probably better off just Selling the covers for ISO right now and wait until your roster has matured a bit more.

Agreed. If they would be your first 4* champ - don’t waste your matchmaking and scaling on them (Hulkbuster could be worth it, Iceman or Jean Grey as well and Peggy Carter but not the pair you’ve mentioned).

One tip to avoid this situation in the future - hoard the CP and Legendary tokens untill you are more ready. That way you won’t have to sell the 4* covers you can’t use. Still - without opening them it’s hard to get the elusive covers for top toons so you might just need to sell the ones you don’t intend to champ in the first place.

Hulkbuster, Fury, xfw, and Ant-man are champs already. My next closest is Fezzik with 11 covers and 4clops with 10.

I’d champ Elektra and use the covers right now. She’s not top-tier but she’s a great spoiler, especially against OML. I think she’s a worthy edition, unless you’re sitting on a 14th cover for someone better.

If you don’t have the Iso for IW, sell. It’s always a bummer, but there’s riper fruit on the vine.

In a strictly PVP world I would pass on both of them, but if you play any PVE, I think Elektra is worthwhile to champ. One thing I like to do for fun is boost strike tiles to ridiculous strength, so Patch and Elektra are really fun partners (her red each turn is hilarious with boosted strikes).

Elektra as your highest level character on a team can be pretty good on offense because you can tank with her easily and she’s one of the most punishing tanks in the game.

Atrociously bad defensively, but that only matters for pvp.

I can’t take credit for this but I was recently considering selling my one cover IW and someone in the forum suggested that I hold on to her. With TA Hulk being revamped so recently, the other poster suggested that I hold off on any IW decisions cause they seemed to think that IW would be revamped shortly.
