I had to just quit.
Similar (same?) issue with Squee was reported yesterday actually. That one’s already tagged as investigating, so hopefully both are fixed.

Sounds like the same thing. I didn’t check my battle log. I am relatively new to the game. It’s possible he came back as a 1/0, but it was happening too fast for me to get a good look at Squee.
