So, I know its all luck but I’ve actually gotten a few 3* covers from standard tokens lately. I’m sure they would have said something if they changed the standard token draw rates too but I don’t stockpile them, I open them as I go and I’ve gotten a few in the past couple days. I’m probably crazy but has anyone else noticed this?

I haven’t earned enough of the more premium tokens yet to notice a significant difference in those drop rates but again, to me 2 or more 3s from standard tokens in a few days opening them one at a time seems significant to me… Especially since I’m finally at the point in my transition where I’m getting 3s I don’t need.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Comes and goes like the wind. I’ll get several rares in a week then zero for a couple weeks straight from them.

I’ve noticed it as well. I had 2 golds within 2 days and one cover I actually needed from those (yellow Cyclops). Previously if I got 1 gold per month from a standard I considered myself lucky but have never had that kind of luck.

I’m sure I just got lucky. They would have said something if they made a change like that considering how everyone is threatening to riot lately.

I wait until I have at least 50 standard tokens. I have rarely ever opened them all without getting at least 1 3*. It usually takes me 2 weeks to get there. Previously I opened them as soon as I got them and it felt like I never got anything good.

's it could be changed at any time and we wouldn’t know about it for a while.
They DO add new characters to the standard tokens too. (e.g. I pulled blackflag.png

This after a long barren run of nothing good.
Especially poor harvest from PVE specific tokens.

I pulled my first kamala purple and first ragnarok blu from standard in the last few days. Also, a cyclops red. Event tokens: 2* only lately

Over time, I’ve gotten 2 4* Thor covers and 2 X-force covers from standard tokens. It’s just the luck of the draw sometimes.

Since we can see the odds on heroic tokens, we know (based on the fractional percentages used) that there are, in all likelihood, at least 500 possible “outcomes” for those token pulls, and probably more than that. (I bet it’s based on a 1000-outcome grid, or possibly 1024 to make things computationally simpler.) The standard tokens are probably double that number of outcomes. So statistically, if you open (say) 20 standard tokens a week, the odds are not enormously long that you pull 2 or 3 high-level covers in that week. Not likely, mind you – but it’s not like 1:100,000 or anything. I am way too lazy to do the actual math, though.
