The yellow cover is the DDQ feature a week from today, I am missing yellow also…I hear ya though it would be nice to have two in such a short time frame.

I am currently in 3rd place in my slice with 497 points (made it to 661 to grab the extra token and pulled my 1st Psylocke blue cover) but have been getting hammered since I took a break, I kept an eye out for you just in case we are in the same but did not see you.

Haven’t started it yet, sitting at 750pts in the marvel PVP ending in just over an hour, then i will join a bracket once i have health packs back.

I was on an awesome roll in that one, made it to 14th place had just under 700 and was working to get 4hor so I dropped a shield. Entered last night prior to my shield ending (2 hours early) and immediately hit the wall. I was like I had a target painted on my forehead after I dropped my shield, I was getting attacked so fast that I could not keep up. I would go into what battles I could find and winning but by the time it was over I had been attacked 2-3 times and losing what points I had just earned and then some, currently in 219th with 395 pts in that event…1 hour and 10 mins left.

Has anyone noticed that the loaner power rotates now? Is this new, or has it been that long since I’ve paid attention to the loaner? Last match I had bullseye’s Purple, and now I have his Black passive…

It’s a new feature added to the season. Seems like the power you get depends on the node you choose to play. Top node gets you his first, left node gets you the second and right node gets you the third.

Might jump into this to shoot for that R&G to make my second, but not enjoying the spectre of those huge defensive point losses… anyone got a point estimate on what I’m aiming for if I’m shooting to hit T100?

Good luck, i was at 681 points, and only ranked 89… with a day left. T100 is not going to be easy on this one. I was ian no longer T100 though, the update, and a couple hours of not being able to log in.. I lost so many points i am under 400 again.. have to slog back up, with the Carnage PVE starting…

bright side is, we get the yellow cover in a week or so from DDQ!

Yeah, good point on DDQ. I’m probably going to save myself the frustration and just wait.

Off topic

The event title reminds me of the scene in Star Wars IV A New Hope where the rebel squadron is trying to take down the Death Star. The X-wing (or was it Y-wing) pilots were heading down the ‘alley’ and Darth Vader comes up behind them. One of the pilots starts saying he can’t shake 'em and his wingman goes,

Pilot A: It’s no good. I can’t maneuver!
Pilot B: Stay on target
Pilot A: We’re too close!
Pilot B: Stay on target…

Boom!

Pilot A is blown up by Vader.

So now i can’t get that line and how pilot B said it out of my head icon_e_biggrin.gif

If you have the time then joining in the last 2/3 hours of a slice still kinda works for placement. Friday first slice is usually very good for that, probably because it’s inconvenient for most people.

Also alas my Yellow-less R+G brothers i took a small step out in front, I’ll await at the church of pool.

Need a Cage yellow while i’m there.

I lol’d at this, but they powered up Bullseye 2 star for the event, and then you cant actually use him because his 3 star is fixed.

How many points are needed to stay in the top 100?

At least 700 in my bracket, but still 3 hours from end. I’m sure it will climb higher, though I’m uncertain as to how much.

I’m finding it kind of a pain to babysit the game to stay in top 100 without shielding. I’m also nervous about getting hit multiple times in the last few minutes knocking me out of the top 100 without having enough time to retaliate. I only have 4 166s, and none are boosted in the current event, so I’m a juicy target. Maybe I should push to 800 and use a 3 hour shield, but it seems like a waste to use a shield for only top 100.
