So I’m one of the brave souls that took the plunge with update 70 to be able to tell you that yes, the notification banner for goons’ AP sucks horribly. I also noticed two changes not listed in the release notes:
-Fixed several of the issues plaguing alliance chat
-When you look at the alliance score tab in PVP it used to show you players who had not started to play in your alliance with an hyphen (-) where their score would be. Now it simply doesn’t show you the names of the people who haven’t started.
It’s a minor annoyance that only concerns alliance commanders checking on performance, but annoying nevertheless. Now the only way to know if someone has started is by counting names and then trying to figure who’s not in the list yet.
Goon AP banner is trash

Removing the names of characters who haven’t played yet deters commanders from removing players who might quit if they get kicked from a well placing alliance.
Goon AP banner is the worst thing that’s happened to MPQ with Squirrel Girl coming in at a close 2nd.
Unless you’re just drastically against her art style SG is actually pretty fun to play. Way better than Doc Oc, Beast or Lazy Storm. Won some Thor-PvP battles with SG Colossus while waiting for the retals to come in and tank my mmr.
Some people just hate Squirrel Girl because she’s a non-epically heroic, rather homely woman with a realistic waist and chest who just has a lot of fun and none of the drama. We all know that comic book heroines are meant to be smoking hot badasses with a traumatic past and tortuous relationships.
Attack tiles take damage off the health bar at a more appropriate moment. It used to be immediately after the turn, now it matches up with when the damage numbers fly off the tiles.
I believe it goes that if you haven’t finished the event, looking at the leaderboard will show you the players with hyphen scores. However if you have already finished an event, looking at the post-event leaderboard won’t show the hyphen scores. No idea why but that’s how it’s been for me.
I guess that’s a possibility. I was looking at TaT, so it was an ongoing event. I can take a look in ten minutes after Lord of Thunder ends. I just checked now and there were for hyphens. I’ll look again after event end.
And some hate squirrel girl because wtf is that
power about? End turn for shield tiles? Her purple is mediocre and her green is too random. She’s mid to low tier and who’s got time to level those guys? Not me.
Also how can you be non epically heroic when you single handedly defeat Thanos?
