Just when i thought the game is taking a step in the right direction, i get royally screw.

It’s a long story and i guess it all begin yesterday. I was applying boost in the prodigal sun pve, i accidentally mistaken the + 50% damage to all enemy to the + 20% match damage to all AP( only if they didnt look exactly the same). So in a moment of haste i end up purchasing the 50% + damage for 500 Hero Points instead of applying more +20% all match damage( which i had about 20 stock up).
The way how you can accidentally buy more boost is really bad. It is almost like they want to trick/bait you in to wasting your money. I really don’t think anyone in their right mind would buy a +50% damage boost for 500 HP. I would love it if this was change some how.

Well that 500 of my hard earn hero points down the drain but i guess i just deal with it since it was my mistake and move on.

So moving on, after wasting 500 HP i end up with only about 225 HP left. After this thing just get worst, i grinded the hard way to 1100 points in the Fresh Cut pvp and i put an 8hr shield on and go to sleep. When i wake up, i found out that the server exploded and end up giving people ridiculous amount of points. I was left behind, so i broke shield and push on until i got to 1300 and put in a 3 hour shield with the 75 HP i have left. Only after i shield do i realize that when i broke shield earlier, i did it 20 minutes so now i you have to finish the event unshield for 28 minutes since i have no more HP left.

I made the tough decision to spend some money and buy some more HP. So i bought the HP and the transaction was complete but the HP didn’t appear in-game. I thought that i some how cancel my purchase so i bought it again only to receive the message “You already purchased this but it hasn’t been downloaded”. I check my card and the transaction indeed went through, my money was take yet the goods wasn’t deliver. Not sure why this was happening, first time it ever happen to me, if some one know how i can fix it, it would be greatly appreciated.

So there i am, just waiting, hoping the HP i purchase would come through. And then i remember that i was suppose to be given 2000 ISO and 100 HP as compensation for the server issue, i become even more hopeful. 1 Hour before my shield end, nothing. 30 minute left still nothing. 1 minute left, i now accept that i am screw and i just have to do my best to cope in the last 28 minutes.

And as expected i got swamp by the horde. I had to get in a retaliation war with Walk Your Path since he was the only target who was worth more than 20 points. Sorry mate, i didnt want to do that but that was the only thing i could do. ( all the other people was hitting me for 40+ points and i could only get 4-5 points.

In the end, i when from 1307 to 1028 in 25 minutes, i fell like i was getting rape since there was nothing i can do about it.

I was out of HP and couldn’t shield because of a stupid mistake

I was worry all the way to the finish that my alliance wouldn’t get top 100 because of my mishap. Luckily, in the end we pull through by 52 points. I couldn’t image how i would feel if we end up 101 or so

I dont really know what to expect anymore. I fell like i had to post this to let out some fume.
Now i can go back to enjoying killing every character in my roster with Fabio.

I’d normally say this is the player’s problem, but I do think having those 500 HP for PvE only boosts is indeed a disaster waiting to happen and D3 should take some responsibility for that.

I think they should just change it so that those boosts cannot be bought at all.

The 500 HP is only part of the problem and i admitted that it was my mistake, my problem but server hiccup, purchased HP not appearing is out of my control. Not sure what i am suppose to do for that.

Sounds like a perfect storm of stuff going wrong. Sorry to hear about it mate. Looks like you put up a good fight!

I would file a ticket with CS, and if you don’t get an answer in a timely manner, forward this post along with the ticket number to IceIX.

Yeah, i submitted a ticket straight away when i notice my HP did not appear. I was optimistically hoping that the would resolve the issue before my shield expired so i can shield up again and retain my points. That did not happen and the damage have been done. I dont really care about the HP. I needed it there and then to shield. Nothing they can do to really resolve it, unless they can magically add 300 points to my season 2 total. (also a IW card would be nice).

2- If you are not worried about getting the HP back, it might just be easier and faster to file for a refund through the app store/play store.

If you haven’t spent/received your HP I’d try for a refund, because you most certainly didn’t get the HP for when you’re expecting to have it. I doubt D3 will do anything related to placement since there’s too many 'what if’s and while it seems relatively clear cut in this case, I can easily seeing far messier cases where the scores are much closer.

The only way he’ll get his money back is by filing through google play or through his credit card. This company’s policy is to never make any kind of refunds/partial refunds or adjustments under any circumstances.

Their policy, from every interaction I’ve had, be it relating to purchases as above or for technical issues like getting attacked through shield, accidentally deleting a cover, accidentally buying a cover before noticing it would be a daily reward, server problems, etc.. is that they will do absolutely nothing. They will however encourage YOU to spend more money to make up for it, even if it’s their mistake. Because that’s just how awesome they are.

To be honest i dont really care about the money(it’s only a couple of dollars) or the HP. I just want this game to work. I also want to see how they will handle this situation to see if i will ever spend money on it again.

No worries, man - I didn’t need the covers, and just wanted to see how far I could push it at the end. I still hit 1300 and ended up somewhere around 1250. If I had known what was happening to you I wouldn’t have even retaled. I’m so over Season placement now. (other than Fury for my alliance)

Sorry for pulling up an older thread but I feel the need to stress that not a soul in the alliance would have felt you let us down. Thanks to you we have all been able to do so well and your help and loyalty are second to none!
