Stuck with Enthralling Victor and no targets

I used the Elder Reborn against the opponent and on it’s 3rd verse got to take a creature from their graveyard, the only choice was Enthralling Victor and they had no creatures.
Enthralling Victor insisted I select a creature to steal and “cancel” didn’t work so I was stuck and had to quit the game.

I suspect he usually checks whether there are valid targets first but cheating him into play broke that.

If anyone else runs into this, you could try clicking where your opponent’s creature would be, or one of your creatures. Probably won’t work, but I had a weird Lay Claim bug that looked similar, and I managed to cast it on one of my own creatures to continue.
