Don’t understand why this game has never, ever shown what you could buy once you buy the first one. Like, why hide it?

At it’s core this game is an RNG gambling simulator and obviously the programmers have had trouble moving away from that platform - they don’t want to show you in case you might be unimpressed and not spend on the next tier, whereas the current model encourages you to keep going with the hint of something really good for your gamble.
I have always thought the opposite. Unless I know what I could be buying, why would I buy the first tier?

Well you have answered your own question - you might be tempted to buy all 3 tiers. If the first tier offers good enough value but what you really want to know is what is in the third tier, there is more chance you will keep going. It is the same psychology as to why restaurants often don’t put their prices online in an easy to find way - they want to get you into an environment where it is more likely you will chose to spend.
Anyway - sorry haven’t even seen the offer yet myself.
Well, I didn’t answer my own question because I am NOT buying the first tier until I know what’s next. That first tier isn’t great value. So really hoping second and third are better value. Not spending unless I know.
Sorry was just trying to answer part one of your opening question! The real answer is to all this is these are just digital goods and their value is judged by how useful they are to you or by how much enjoyment they bring.

If the first tier is bad value. Don’t forget to factor in the cost of the first tier in your valuation of the second tier, and both the rewards of the first and second in your valuation of the third tier.
Bad example, if the first tier is an heroic for 10$ and the second tier is 4 LTs for 10$, the second tier looks decent on its own, but you’re paying 20$ for a Heroic and 4 LT. Which is still a bad purchase.
