Hi, everyone!

As we previously mentioned, we’re committed to bringing more seasonal celebrations that aim to bring the community not only curated, themed in-game activities, but also to elevate the good moments already present. And what better feeling than opening the card you want in a pack?

Introducing a special, limited-edition release arriving just in time for our upcoming Summer Celebration (which we’ll discuss in more detail later):

The Summer Celebration Pack

The Magic: Puzzle Quest multiverse has a long, rich history, and we know that some cards simply shine brighter than others. That is why we want to do something incredibly special for this celebration: We want to build this card pool with YOU!

Community Input: Help Shape the Card Pool!

We want the contents of this pack to be inspired directly by our passionate community. While we cannot guarantee that every single requested card will make the final selection, our team will use your suggestions as our primary guide to curate an amazing, balanced set!

How to make your voice heard:

  • Submit your official picks via our Form: To make sure our design team sees your requested cards, please submit them through our official suggestion form linked below. This is the only way to officially register your recommendations!

  • Discuss in the comments: Want to rally support for an old favorite or see what other players are chasing? Jump into the comments below to chat, debate, and share your wishlist with the community!

Note on Selection: To keep the game balanced, Shop Exclusives (currently in rotation) and Holiday-specific special cards won’t be included. However, almost any other card from our history is a valid suggestion!

It depends on what you consider as shop exclusives that are in rotation. There have been exclusives in the past that I never saw reappear later. I’m thinking about the uncommon slivers, or the bear themed cards Ayula’s Influence and Ayula herself. Or Seismic Assault. It would be cool to have a shot at those cards. I also like the idea of @Drag0nWhelp . Open a random walker you don’t currently own. One of my biggest wishes is the have targeted shots at nondupe RARE vanguards only, without the possibility of pulling a mythic. Some of those Vanguards are part of very big sets and are dupable, leading to a very large resource sink and frustration. Most notable sets are War of the Sparks, M20, Zendikar Rising, but also some of the sets that are currently in standard.

Edit: I rejoice the idea that you are trying new stuff! Keep up the good work!

I applaud your attempt to try something new. Also that you are trying to involve the player base. Really great!

I’m a bit confused about what it is for a pack you are trying to put together, though, so I’m struggling to give any input to its content.

I’d love to have this feature so I could specifically select a Vanguard or a card, not just randomly! For example, I could choose a Vanguard I like and buy it! In crafting, you choose and create the chosen one this way, saving time and resources!

Is that hard to do? If they did, players would be happier. I asked about this 3 years ago and haven’t raised the issue since then.

What’s this for? Is is a booster pack you can buy for crystals? Or for cash money?

When you say ‘curate an amazing, balanced set’, is this a set of cards that will be used in an event?

We still cannot discuss much about it, like ways to obtain it, but it’s not an event deck or single card reward pool. This will be a special pack that will be available for a limited period (during the Summer Celebration, in this case).

@Magic_PQ_Support_Team I’m afraid you might not have collected useful data.

I expect that most of us listed cards we already use regularly (after all, how can we describe something as “must have” if we can’t playtest it?) and are therefore unlikely to spend money on things we already own.

It’s very difficult to help you in a meaningful way when we don’t understand what your goals are.

This observation makes perfect sense. We’ll add it to the study for this pack!
In any case, the cards most recommended by experienced players are a good reference for those who are newer and do not have the widest collection, and that’s nice. :slight_smile:
