I should have read the tips section before now- – I have 116 characters in my roster, 11 are 5* with not many covers. PVP is now almost impossible for me to compete in. I’ve been recruiting periodically, and on a whim (or wine)–I had a million iso, and just started leveling everybody up-- seems it might have been a mistake.
Question: Should I just sell off those 5* characters and stick with my 3-4* roster?

5* Phoenix lev 330 w/ 2/1/2, hulk 300 w/ 3bluecovers, Thanos 300 w 2/1/0, Spider man 300 w/ 2/1/0, OML 300 w 1/2/0, GG 285 0/1/1, Starlord 285 w 0/1/1 and 5 more at 270 with 1 cover each.

3* champs patch lev 202 , grey suit 200 , IF 200 , LC 199, IM40 200, DD 197, hulk 198, cyclops 196, falcon 195, steve rogers 194 etc.
Don’t sell, but don’t level any more. I’ve seen so many people fall into this trap. Once you have a bigger 4* army. Once you have a few of the good ones champed your MMR will feel more normal.
5*s are only really useful when they are highly levelled, best not try to run before you can walk!
Try to get hold of Danvers, Medusa, maybe hobo fist - 4*s that won’t be vaulted soon
