Tainted Indulgence discards the first card in hand [Investigating]

Maybe not technically a bug, but Tainted Indulgence discards the first card in your hand. You would think it’s supposed to be the last card in your hand, especially since they fixed Xander to discard the last two cards in Greg’s hand.

Is this how the card is supposed to work? Asking for clarification. If so, the card text should be reworded.
