After the recent changes I’ve finally decided to call it quits for awhile. No point in rehashing all the reasons but I’m just not enjoying the direction this game is going. I may try again in a few months.
I haven’t spent much time in the forums but I’m sure I’ve battled some of you a few times during my time in puzzle quest (day #282, name in game ndjdjdjde).
I started playing that a few weeks back too…made me think how much better this game could be if they had a slotted power system for each character rather than static ones…ah well…FFRK is definitely worth a look, particularly if you are a fan.
To be fair, FFRK has a lot of advantages, because there’s no PvP or competitive game modes, but yeah, there’s definitely a lot that can be taken away from other models.
I actually really love how forgiving the stamina system is in FFRK - I’ve played quite a few stamina based games and they’ve all been a real buzz kill. 1 Stamina every 3 minutes is pretty awesome for a fair chunk of the game, especially if you’re not a mad grinder. This is made even better by the fact you can upgrade your maximum Stamina without in-game purchases.
I’m really liking the Mythril systems too - it can be kind of hard to get them until around level 15, but I got my first 50 right around level 25, for my 11-Relic Pull. I didn’t get any of the fancy stuff, but the 3* gear gave me a significant boost. I like too, though, that it has a lot of other uses, and that they separate it from the real premium currency.
“Final Fantasy Record Keeper” kind of sounds like a parody game about menial tasks in a bigger game universe. From the makers of “World of Warcraft Sword Sharpener” and “Everquest Human Resources Benefits Coordinator”.
