So, as most have probably noticed, the current Gideon pack is 25$, not 39,99$ like it was expected.
Not having gone into details, it seems that the biggest change has been the removal of crystals from the package.
I just want to say that this is a HUGE step in the right direction! I am not a whale by any means, also because I don’t have the means, and yet at this price I would seriously consider it worth it to pick up the bundle, or at least it is cheap enough to warrant consideration!
So I just want to give you guys a thumbs up, even if the runes and mana jewels are still not something I am interested in paying for, it is still a marked improvement! Way to go!
@brigby Are you able to tell us whether this is merely a “special offer at reduced price” or whether it is symptomatic of a paradigm shift in the ways cards and planeswalkers will be sold going forward? If it is, then I am happy to see it go hand in hand with another number of clear improvements recently added to the game, innumerable bugs notwithstanding.
On a separate note: Nice to see that prices are now listed in local currency, was a small but constant nuisance having to do the math every single time, although the danish conversion does add 20% to the price, listing the Gideon bundle at 30$, and starter pack at 6$ rather than 4,99$
