You don’t join a main bracket until you select an end time. The amount of people in your bracket should be in a red band above the black band that states how much time is left in the event. It is easiest to just check the last post in the thread, to see what the latest info someone has provided. If the time zone settings in your user profile are correct, you should be able view the time the person posted, to see how current their info is. There is a possibility of multiple brackets filling side by side, so join a “fresh” bracket at your own risk.

3)Leader in bracket with amount of points
4)Time you joined the event, if it was not right before posting in the thread.

… and 7 days-long.
I could enter early but the problem is always the same: if I enter now, will I be able to play regularly during 7 days until the end? Probably not
On the other hand, recently I was especially unlucky when looking for a fresh bracket around the last days of an event.
I would be interested to hear someone who has experience in early start in such PvE
Slice 3 is filling at a moderate pace with 258 players, could possibly fill in as early as 2 days at this rate. Felux has slipped to #9, Shawty45 is #1@8891 points (for reference, a single run through gave me 2799 points).
My Slice 3 node just filled (was at 998 20 minutes ago, just checked, full now), assuming vet bracket? Not sure what determines it, but all the leaders have maxed 4*'s.
