Figure I’d start a thread for it. Similar to the last go around, but maybe different. Can anyone confirm for the Another Test node that the color pairs change each new battle? Got out my pen and paper to note the combos to find that they didn’t work the same on the following clear. ---

Last time they changed every new battle, so I expect they will work the same now. A hint if people haven’t noticed, you can look at your own AP to see what color is generated. That’s a lot easier than trying until you damage Quandary. ---

Oh…oh no. I haven’t started this one yet, but are they running the thing everyone hated last time? I thought they specifically said they weren’t doing this. I didn’t mind it, but I’m not looking forward to the reactions again. ---

Not sure if I made my feelings clear last time I want the person/s responsible for quandary fired, but not only from this job but all future employment. What makes it more fun is you can’t fire any powers at all to help with board placement. I also said that the 2 people who asked for this rerun to burn in the firey flames of hell until the end of time. My opinion hasn’t changed. ---

I get there is quite a bit of randomness and luck involved nevertheless it still fun for me. Also these are not timed so pace of play is a good thing I find about it. I generally finish pve in 25 mins clear and grinds using the same repetitive teams which has gotten quite boring. I understand ppl frustrations with the event but that can be easily solved by making the rewards worth the effort. Although I personally don’t have any issues with the rewards either. ---

Last year, Quandry was also the Boss. So there was this event, then a boss event (run twice) where you would do a side pin, then fight a random Quandry-as-boss where she would enter a puzzle state and you would have to solve the puzzle to resume being able to damage her… then a side pin, then do it again… and again… ---

I’m not sure I enjoyed it, as much as I appreciated them doing something different and taking a swing. It wasn’t perfect but it was a change of pace. And yeah, I was oversimplifying with “everyone.” There were probably tens of us who enjoyed it! ---

The whole quandary thing is not that bad, EXCEPT that effing hue shift node, and to a certain extent, the grounded and breakthrough nodes. Utterly punishing, what with the RNG also dropping stuff you DON’T NEED at that moment to damage your team and mess up your moves. ---
