Love, exciting and new.
Come aboard. We’re expecting you!
Welcome to The LOVE Boat! We’re a top 50 PVE alliance with the goal of helping all of our members climb the star ladder while also being understanding of real life. There are no chat requirements and we are accommodating of vacation, illness, etc. if you communicate with us.
PVP at least 300 points
PVE 100% progression rewards
A forum account is required for communication purposes
Consecutive days of no activity in the daily resupply without notification to commanders will get you cast overboard
4 PVE* - The meta game has changed and we are adjusting to it. Due to the amount of mega alliance collusion, merc alliances created just for PVE end, and the overwhelming amount of mercing in general in these events we will no longer be making an organized push for a new 4* debut PVE. Instead we will keep the alliance private and support our more ambitious members if they want to merc the event. Their spots will be saved and they will be welcomed back.
Here are some sigs for the new team, I’m no Salgy but what are ya gonna do. Space is usually good at these too. I think Slagy used to set them up with link below so that you just add [/img] at the end so they are pictures. Here goes.
That’s just some creepy swamp love there, Ana. Looks like that LOVE boat soon will be making another run… to the heart of the swamp, piling the bodies up one by one.
It’s hard to find superhero pictures with boats on google, I see you all opted for classy/boat free logos. Sometimes when looking for boats it gets a little creepy. Though I see how the classic Spidey font isn’t helping the situation.
as the season is starting, I just wanted to re-post the alliance minimums so that everyone is aware.
For PVP, the minimum is 500 points.
For PVE events, the minimum is 150% of the top progression reward. For 4* release PVE events, the minimum is 200% of the top progression.
Although I’m getting a really strange visual for pirate love boat, and I’m not sure there’s enough eye bleach on board to resolve this. I think I’m putting too much emphasis on love and not enough on pirate.
We finished #122 in Fist Bump with 12,118 points. We were within top 100 at one point, but guess that was because most of our higher scorers were in earlier slices. Guess we’re still not ready for top 100s yet - even if everyone had hit the 500 minimum (taking us to 12,328 points) that would only have been good enough for #119. We’re getting closer though, we seem to be fairly solidly in the top 130!
Welcome, LOVE Boat crew members. Today I need to talk to you about the alliance rules, and some additions and clarifications that have been made. All previous rules have been thrown overboard - they took what was fun and made it frustrating.
PvE
Play and have fun. Let’s just compete amongst ourselves for points leader. We place wherever we place, but we all know we’re capable of top 50 easy.
If a new character launch comes around and a player wants to merc out to get an extra one, that’s fine - just let everyone know before you bail. We’ll welcome you back when the event is done.
PvP
Play and have fun. Everyone should get the 10-pack at 4000 season points, so that means you’ll need about 400 in each event plus some simulator time. Don’t let free tokens get away! Doing this, we’ll be top 250 PVP and score the ISO and HP to keep our rosters growing.
As always, please let us know if you’re going to be away from the game for a while or leaving entirely. Extended unexpected absence and freeloading are considered kickable offenses.
One concrete rule - anyone being an ass in-game, via PM or in the forum will be keelhauled and their corpse set adrift in a lifeboat.
How does the PvE “season” scores work? Do you find the average of the placements of the PvEs over the season, or do you add up our scores for each PvE and then rank us based on that at the end of the season?
