Welcome to the MPQ Grapevine B)

This thread is for those forum users and MPQ players who want to be in the know with the latest MPQ developments, information and dev comments regarding the game. To that end, we ask the community to post any information they see elsewhere (e.g. Twitter, reddit, Discord, etc) here, so that other forum users, lurkers and net surfers can have a place they can easily see what’s up with all things MPQ.

With that goal in mind, let’s establish a few ground rules to help keep this thread easy-to-read:

1. Please refrain from side commentary and discussion. If you want to talk about a piece of information you saw here, please start a new thread about that topic.

  1. When posting information you have seen from elsewhere, post the newsworthy information, then mention the source and finally provide a link when feasible.

Screenshots are preferable but in the event you are unable to do so and are quoting a member of the dev team, please be sure to mention who it is you’re quoting and most importantly provide a link to the statement you are referring to. Posts without links will not be accepted unless verified by a member of the mod team.

  2. It goes without saying but just in case please refrain from posting data-mined info. That is a serious rules violation and will be dealt with accordingly.

My assumption would be that 3* Torch will lose Thing (who is also covered by Kang) and get this Torch alongside Hammond Torch.

Yeah. It ileven says he’s the new 5* in tiny text in top left. Every month they choose a new social media platform to make all their announcements.

But, the new themed quests are fun at least. I wish they’d do them way way more.

Another new support

New Support - Gamma Ray - this one has an in game pop up and can be viewed in Supports to see what you can do with.

I don’t know about you, but I just cannot read that greyed out text on my S9+ phone which has a fairly decent screen size. So I have ZERO idea what this support does.

Rank 1 Match green have 85% chance to destroy 2 other basic tiles (does damage)

Rank 3 match enemy special 100% chance to destroy 2 more of same type (does damage)

Rank 5 Whilst supported character in fight 85% + chance of new tiles dropping being green

Gamma Mutates Burst heal and then next on 10 or more tiles destroyed in one turn, become enraged then deal 50% more damage (not sure if that is match or power or both) then stop being enraged and rinse repeat
