So, this is what I have. Thoughts on directions? I’m currently saving ISO until I get more 2* Torch or 2* Widow covers. There’s potential to sell 2* Hawkeye after the changes, since I mainly used him to cover colors and Avoid into loaners to extend my playing time, but I am going to do adequate testing first.

Short term: Looks like your best 2* duo is Wolverine and OBW. I’d level OBW first… she’s probably my most-used 2* for both PvP and PvE. Alternatively, you can wait for r60 and see how Hawkeye synergizes with MNMags (my guess is that it’s decent but not top-tier). Daken also may be worth investing in after r60 hits, especially if long play sessions are what you want. Daken+Wolvie make a decent 2-man combo.

Long term: The glaring holes in your roster appear to be Ares and Thor, who are both worth investing in. It might be a good idea to grind some simulator for 2* Thor/Ares covers. NorthernPolarity sees the current top tier 2* team as Thor/Ares, Torch, and OBW. I tend to agree, and that’s the team I’d recommend building towards.

My luck getting those Thor and Ares covers has just been bad icon_lol.gif
I think I have maybe gotten two of each and I ended up throwing them away for multiple covers in other characters. Now that I have some expendable characters (like 1* Storm), I’ll probably open up a slot and try and max each of those out.

I would also recomend keeping 1* storm over 1* Iron Man. At your level you should be able to use the TU each time with Storm and she should pair well with 2* Daken who will produce strike tiles for you. Ares is still probably the best 2* as his green can 1 shot a lot of 3* characters and his yellow is really strong as well. If you play a lot of PVE and the prologue you will get a lot of standard tokens which should lead to more 2* covers to build up your roster.

Yeah, what they said - keep grinding those 2* covers. Wolverine is decent for a fast strike time, but nothing beats Ares and Thor at the 2* level for a sustained push. Also, you probably want to respec your OBW - Aggressive Recon is just so much easier to get at 3 covers than 4 or 5. The 3/5/5 build is pretty much mandatory, I’m afraid. But you need more covers.

PVP is a great place to get them. You’ll get a cover a bit over a third of the time, and a third of the time you get a cover, you’ll get a 2* - so the chance is about 1 in 9 each time. Also, get to 300 every PVP - that’s a 2* (at least) guaranteed. You can also play in the lightning rounds - if you enter in the first few minutes you can fight the seed teams for at least 4 or 5 fights.
