The Question No One is Asking

With 6-Stars finally confirmed.

The question that should be asked is how long until people start asking about 7-Stars?

I’m sure people will start asking almost immediately, as people did with 6 stars once 5 stars were introduced. I wouldn’t expect 7 stars to be a serious idea any time soon.

7-Stars - Bah.

Once the game passed 5 stars, the next obvious number to think about is 10 stars.

KGB

Well, you just did.

There would be only one - The Beyonder.

Once we’ve got a 7* it’s time to gather them up and summon Shenron!

7-Stars would have to be Stan Lee, Jack Kirby & Steve Ditko,

Has anyone seen @slidecage since this has been announced? They were the only one I saw still pushing this topic, can we just assume the dev team introduced all of this for him/her?

I hope you’re feeling well Slide.

I remember when 4*s were new..

And Jeff Goldblum.

Was thinking about it the other day. He called 6 stars, the season pass, and something else im currently forgetting. Credit where credit is due, slide nailed it.

“Man, f*** Jeff Goldblum, man.”

As a very specific, provincial pro wrestling joke: The only current 7 star characters should be Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada.

Unfortunately if we use this scale, all women get an automatic -2 stars, and anyone who can do a backflip into a superhero pose starts at 5 stars.

Or they should just be Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evan’s, Chris Hemsworth & Tom Holland.

I don’t keep up with Meltzer ratings and had to “do the research” … Stardom only having 4 matches ranked above 5* is criminal.

Heh, I should have figured there would be enough of a Venn diagram overlap between MPQ and wrestling fans to get some conversation going.

Another joke to be had: If the Tokyo Dome were made into a playable stage, all characters would get a god level 2* boost.
