Seriously, I’ve been hacking away at the current PvE and have won 9 gold tokens.
And not one gold cover amongst them. I know you can’t have too much character progression so people will buy covers, and I have bought a few along the way, but this just gets depressing after a while. It really is only the DDQ rewards that are keeping me interested, and able to catch up to some of the players that have been around longer/spend more.
Oh, and the DDQ tacos aren’t all that better, been playing since the start and have got one gold.
Not complaining about the overall game, I still enjoy the format, but it makes ‘going for gold’ a bit tiresome.
Same experience here. I’ve been playing for over a year and have a mostly complete roster, so I’m not much in it for covers, except new covers. What I’m interested in most is
DDQ was a great addition there, but it would be nice to have PvE drop some more of it, especially since high level characters take a lot of it to level and really grinding PvE is otherwise just not worth it for me if the new character doesn’t strike my fancy much. The 8 hour refreshes have improved PvE much for me, but I still have work and a life and will therefore miss the occasional refresh or not hit the optimal refresh time, and grinding the hell out of the last hour just isn’t fun, and not worth it when I feel the reward is not.
