• I haven’t seen my reward in my inbox since July 21st… either there’s a delay or something.
• The Planeswalker rotation has stopped showing. It feels like the game has been “broken.”
• Some boosters are missing. For example, there’s a TSP banner saying there are 193 days left, but there are no actual boosters, literally nothing. There’s not even an elite TSP pack, even though it should be there according to the rotations.
• I’m asking for a reset for everyone in the Planeswalker Challenge so I can start from scratch. Last time, we accidentally found a “secret” and tested it, but the progress remained. And I don’t understand what the reward is on the black node… yesterday, I saw on the blue node—the chest rewarded a card, but the black node didn’t. Otherwise, players would be hurt if they lost something while testing this Planeswalker Challenge… Usually, in other games, if an event is in testing mode, players test it and then get a chance.
But the question remains: if players complete the Planeswalker Challenge to the very maximum level and everything stops, how will we continue it? It would cease to be interesting if everyone stopped at the maximum level and there was nothing to do.
If they made an endless challenge, like a “Multiverse Tower,” in the sense that as many players as possible could complete floors and earn a decent reward, and then the next month, progress resets and you start over. And if you lose on a floor, if there’s a strong boss, you can try as many times as you like until you find a strategic solution with your deck. Other games make an endless tower.
The planeswalker challenge had a pop up screen where it said something like tutorial complete and then showed a picture with (I think) 4 planewalkers and some runes.
Was that the compensation for having the Origins PW? What exactly was the compensation? I couldn’t see any gain perhaps because like @Tolkne I had also found the PW challenge(PWC) and completed 3 black and 3 blue levels of the PWC before completing the tutorial.
Have the devs tested what happens with the “tutorial complete” function if the player had already completed one or more levels?
I also got nothing for already owning all the base walkers. One of my coalition members said they got 2 x 200 crystals in the in game mail today as well as the free booster but I only received 1. Can anyone else confirm receiving 2 x 200 crystals today.
Edit: After discussing with said coalition member they believe they only got 200 crystals and just received the message twice after calculating their crystals from before the gift. They also pointed out that the 200 crystals could have been the gift if we already owned all the base walkers as they were 50 crystals each. 4×50 is 200 so the math checks out and it could have been them refunding the crystals to players that already owned them. They really need to explain things more clearly.
The Planeswalker Challenge is a permanent new game mode, not just for the Summer Celebration.
Yes, the gift given for making the Planeswalkers free is basically the value invested previously in them. We’ve sent the inbox message with the 200 Crystals to everyone, so it might have taken a few hours to arrive. If you or anyone you know is still missing it, you can contact our Customer Support.
By the way, new Planeswalkers were chosen to replace the previous ones as ‘permanently in store’.
On the idea behind TTTT, the dev team would probably have more to say about it, but to put it shortly, it comes from some ‘chaos’ formats of paper magic, as well as some previous experiments.
Some products disappeared temporarily from the Store after the update, but this should be all fixed now.
Finally, it probably makes sense that the players who had access to the Planeswalker Challenge during the temporal rift we had before faced some weird behaviour now that it has been officially released. But since this has to be analysed case-by-case, contacting Customer Support and explaining what happened is the best line of action.
The PW Challenge is a permanent thing. From my calculations this morning if you play all charges on all colors as they become avaliable the earliest possible completion for all colors is the 12th of October.
