Theory as to combined arms rewards

What if D3 thought “hmm lets give an opportunity for those who pay to be good enough to get them, all 3 dino covers, and then not give any more out besides tokens to increase token, and cover purchases” icon_twisted.gif
money money money
did anyone else think of this?

Edit. Delete due to double post.

From a strictly scholastic perspective, the term “think” and your statement is an oxymoron.

In before Polarity berates you for your insert monetization type here conspiracy

its just a thought, and would be smart from a business perspective

i think that D3 is pretty smart most of the time

Errr… how is this any different from every single other time they’ve released a new character?

Devil Dino is only available this week if i got that right
correct me if i’m wrong which i very well may be, but i thought that was the case

Because if this was the case they would only release hot characters like this instead of beast, doc ock, etc.

No, it really wouldn’t. When you are building a business and aiming for long term sustainability, such short term profit grabs are usually destructive to stable, sustained growth.

A business model based on micro purchases has a lot of similarities to a long tail retail business. You don’t ever depend on one product or one small subset of products. You have to look at the broader picture and build a foundation of sustainability. Occasional bumps are nice but they aren’t what you count on.

Anyone else think D3 built a time machine, went back in time, and invented Injury and Death? Why? So the characters in MPQ could get injured and/or die and…

SELL MOAR HEALTH PACKS.

Thank you.

Well, for a start, 99% of other characters aren’t dinosaurs - do we really know what Bagman really looks like under that brown paper?

I do. He spent the night once and after he fell asleep, I peeked. He’s actually kind of cute - but a little younger than I usually go for.

I heard it’s actually Gary Coleman.
