No, you’re mistaken then. You’ll need a specific 4* to play the node, but the reward for that is a Legendary token.

Yep, that’s definitely a misinterpretation of a free token for 40 packs. A 40 day reward or something was never in our plans.
Now that it’s erroneously been brought up, maybe we can get it to replace the 4* cover rotation in daily rewards past a certain point (after 1 year?, 2 years?)? I know I’d much rather see a legendary token than that next 4hor, Elektra, etc. cover I’m going to turn into iso anyway.
The way I read it, it was a one-time deal. The first/next 40 days, one token.
The daily rewards have been updated through to something like Day 900 though. At a certain point we stop alternating 3/4s and go with pure 4+s. So no, no plans to integrate Legendaries, but you won’t be seeing Patch or GSBW popping up as set rewards after 2 years.
