So after a very negative couple of months I have decided that what we need is some positivity god damn it.
So my first idea is to preface the game to Loki’s puzzle quest for the next couple of months, everytime I log on something has changed, or doesn’t work, vaults dont give you what they say they will and who can forget the extortionate prices for 6 shards which is scalping on a level rivalling Bethesda (skyrim super special anniversary ultimate limited edition).
Call the patent office copyright the title lokis puzzle quest, I want a quarter anyone says it.
Let’s hear your ideas, I can personally guarantee that nothing, absolutely nothing, will come of it.
Let’s have some fun for a change, thanks and I love you.
Hell i like both ideas, random gravity would be fun and remember its not a bug, its a feature.
Aso did we a double iso 2 days ago or was that a fever dream?
With the prevalence of zero turn wins and first turn winfinites there is no real reason to be concerned with balance.
The logic for this is simple: if a character or team can guarantee offensive victory in the hands of the player, then balance means every character and team should be able to do the same. If they can’t, there will never be balance, so why bother with nerfs or buffs.
(Note: yes, there are holes and exceptions to this and valid arguments to counter it, but if we’re making suggestions for a hypothetical, there’s no need to get deep into it.)
With this idea in mind, my “just for fun” suggestion is as follows:
Create your own character.
No, not from scratch because, not everyone can code, but from elements already in the game.
Select your character, complete with art and animations.
Select health, affiliations, and damage stats from any character to apply to your chosen toon.
Select powers to apply to that character as you wish.
Result: you can play whatever character you want and mix/match abilities as you see fit.
Perhaps limit options only to things you’ve unlocked.
I’d probably spend a lot time just trying out ridiculous builds.

Match 3 red tiles, receive 3 black ap. Match 3 blue tiles, receive 3 yellow ap and so on.
Mysterio is calling, he wants his power back!
Is that really a power of his? I never use him unless he’s a required. It’s a shame too because that winter illusion costume deserves more screen time.

More animals, more goofy costumes, more dancing in general.
More paste.
I know this is reverence to Paste Pot Pete but it made me think of crafts, and the utter ridiculousness of the chroma costumes and now I want to make my own custom looks, like umpteen other game do, but then how would they make the “I made Red Skull all red” costume a chase item if I could just do it myself?

One of his powers swaps the AP you earn from matching colours - I think you match purple but get yellow? Or might be other way round.

But still: Make Your Own Costume. Do it.
I would make Namor blue so he can be a real Atlantean.
Mysterio is an absolute shambles and offensive to any mysterio fan.
I may have mentioned this once or twice in the past.
From what I understood from sokuns discord post the game is running without supervision ie bcs aren’t involved anymore and we will see in the new year what the new direction will be.
I’m gonna say more characters of varying quality
Since the OP called for +tivity, I suggest upgrading to the aviation setup from Lost Horizon … trapped on a small plane, commandeered by an unknown pilot, flying to destination unknown. Which turned out to be a paradise … maybe.
And I’ll set aside all the unfortunate colonialism.
Like for April Fools, every reward in the Bag Man PVP should be Bag Man. Replace all ISO, HP, CP, with Bag Man covers.
Or in Webbed Wonder for April Fools, every node should reward a Howard Cover.
Or in Oops All Spiders!, cover drops should only be Spider-Verse characters.
A lot of the PvE veterans / competitive players are looking for two things: consistency and speed. That is never going to change. People are established in their rhythms, and trying to cater to that is a losing battle (i.e. When Fight for Wakanda ran the first time and the “Hazard Countdowns” caused disruption that they were pulled back for the next time.
So instead, go for more variation (but not randomness) and do stuff with the event themes.
