Found a couple of examples of cards causing confusion due to a change in text. I suspect that the cards are still doing what they originally said they’d do but players who expect cards to do what they say find themselves disappointed
Someone on the subreddit found Hymn of the Faller:
Original text: Surveil 1 Then: You draw a card and lose 1 life. At the end of your turn: If a Creature or Support was destroyed, exiled, or a Warp effect triggered this turn - Draw a card.
New text: Surveil 1 Then: You draw a card and lose 1 life. At the end of your turn: Destroy the opposing creature with the highest mana cost on the battlefield.
Destroy the opposing Artifact with the highest mana cost on the board.
Your opponent discards the non-Land card with the most mana from their hand. Draw a card.
Sadly too good to be true!
@Xibvert found another example with Kavaron Skywarden:
Original text: At the end of your turn: If a Creature or Support was destroyed, exiled, or a Warp effect triggered this turn - This creature gets +1/+1.
New incorrect text: At the end of your turn: Destroy the opposing creature with the highest mana cost on the battlefield.
Destroy the opposing Artifact with the highest mana cost on the board.
Your opponent discards the non-Land card with the most mana from their hand. This creature gets +1/+1.
This makes things incredibly confusing for obvious reasons!
Many thanks to @Larz70 for cataloguing the cards for his discord deck-bot when they are released. It’s a time-consuming labour of love that could certainly be made easier if @Magic_PQ_Support_Team wanted to help.
