Maybe I’ll just get to a high-ish score and just run a SpiderMan/Magneto troll team. I had a 30 minute match earlier against a low level Falcon who kept getting yellow every turn, had two defense tiles in the corner that got close to 700 defense before I burned an Onslaught team up on him.

, and thus “need” the covers, but he’s just so terrible that I really don’t care too much about getting his covers.

At least yellow is top 5. I also believe his PVP will be for Blade so people will pump ISO into Beast for a better team. Don’t fall for the bait. Beast is just awful. Save your ISO for Blade

I know he’s not in your roster, but in general, if there was ever a time for Doc Ock in PvP, this might be it (Daken/Ock/Falcon). There’s gonna be a lotta opponent special tiles in them there hills.

Otherwise you might consider Daken/Falcon/BP. No green or red, but plenty of damage there.

Brilliant! That sounds like a fun team to play. Almost makes me want to sink some ISO into Otto. Too bad that’s a very low health team; might make for a very attractive target up there in sentry land.

I’m still tempted to try it…

Daken/Falcon/BP is certainly worth a try. I do have a 2/1/1 Dock, but he’d be instakilled without someone tanking his exact colors, and have a “HIT ME” sign on Defense.

Having 2 in blue is absolutely crucial when fighting characters like Daken, who you should see a lot in this event. The standard tradeoff of using a loaned character versus your own that you got to heal applies, but if Falcon isn’t getting unreasonably beaten up Redwing will help a lot in all the likely matchups. Yes if the opponent makes no special tiles then you could use the loaner instead, but hard to imagine that being common.

Only time I have really wondered if 3 blue is better than 5 blue as your much more likely to munch sentry’s strike tile than a countdown tile from WR.

Another advantage is that at 3 blue, you don’t get into the very annoying (and time-consuming) Redwing loop where they just keep stealing each other’s Redwing tile. Every time Falcon’s PvP is run I consider respecing blue just for that reason. Then I remember that I normally use Falcon in PvE and live with it.

Well not doing this and the Pve event at the same time was the biggest mistake I did coming back into the game

I ran out of health packs and all the teams I use right now until i can improve on my other heroes just got defeated easily (only got to get a couple of points) I’m pretty on the low end of points (which I usually am not) but suprisenly i can still can get beast (although im going to sacrafice him for ISO)

Yeah, this is definitely not the PVP to break yourself over. Beast’s blue is inherently broken (the specials it creates either match themselves or are very easy to match, so typically you end up with one, maybe two, if any,) and his other two abilities depend on his blue. It is unfortunate, but there is no two ways about it - he sucks.
