It would be nice to be able to trade cards with other players, and in not suggesting duplicates but singles so its not too easy. Kind of a Pokemon GTS thing deposit a card and request another type thing.
Just wanted to post again on this thread to make sure it sees the right eyes, because I believe a trading mechanism of some sort is necessary for a tcg based game.
If your duplicate cards get crushed into runes, you should be able to buy specific cards with runes.
Personally, I would be fine paying up to 100 times the trade-in amount to get specific cards:
2000 runes for a Common of my choice
4000 runes for an Uncommon of my choice
20,000 runes for a Rare of my choice
100,000 runes for a Mythic of my choice.
Winning the Tezzeret quick battle earned me just under 100k runes. This seems like a reasonable price range. You would have to win 334 battles to farm out just one mythic!

MTGO has the worst trading mechanism ever, and is the reason I don’t play it. Please do not copy that garbage.
