Hoping for Daken reward covers, or perhaps CMags so I’ll have options to respec him after trying him out a bit after Patch60 goes live. Captain Marvel, Deadpool, LThor or Hulk would be nice too… especially if we don’t have to follow it with a Hulk PVP
I guess we won’t have any cMag cover until R60 is done with cMag changes so cMag rewards are unlikely for this tourney but should be offered very soon after R60.
If I should pick someone in your whishlist it would be Daken first like you though

Else why not some easy red LThor in top 100 or Deadpool?
I hope whenever they do the hulk prizes, the actual hulk tournament will get prempted by a new character one. Because that would not be fun now that everyone has a max level one
Doom covers so…meh. But I usually do enjoy Doctor’s Orders.
Fury cover at 1300…so bloodbath. But… a friendly bloodbath because we’ll just all grind up there together. Like we used to do. Like a family.
I don’t know if it’s hilarious, sadistic, or clever that Fury is now suddenly available at 1300 now that X Force is arguably better than him. It’s hilarious if you don’t need Fury, sadistic if you do, and clever if you’re D3.
Since I"m using She-Hulk in my PVE standard team, I"m not going to do much in this one till tomorrow, and - since Doom was the second 3* I cover maxed, months ago - I’m going to be aiming really low on this one.
I thought I messed this up when typing it up, but no, I got it correct. That does seem weird. My Doom is fully covered anyhow, so they’ll all get sold. But I could see this being an imbalance that’s rather obnoxious for people sitting on a 3/1 Doom.
My doom is 5-2 so more blue would have been nice. Oh well.
My cystal ball (like a crystal ball but filled with pus and has a tendency to burst) says doctors orders will give out captain marvel covers (because they still have pack troubles) and marvel pvp will give beast covers. Then, beast pvp.
I think we’ll get Beast PVP sooner than that. The article that talked about Beast made it sound like we’d get his PVP pretty quickly. If Doom gives Beast that makes his pvp more involved, and that makes Beast PVP start on Friday afternoon and run for the weekend, which maybe has more player engagement.
I needed 3 covers to max my she hulk, so i spent an inordinate amout of my hp stash in balance of power to get them. Top 25 was easy, and would have left me needing one green.
That wasn’t good enough, so i ground my way to top 5. Unshielding and reshielding every time I slipped. If only I had waited, because the Trial by Combat token gave me… wait for it, the green cover I needed.
At least the score for the event put me in the top 30 for the season.
Doom has always been somewhat of an enigma for my roster. I’ve been playing since last October, and only seem to get his black covers (good problem to have, I guess). I pulled a blue from a token last week, taking me to 5/4, hopefully this event will give me the last blue I need, finally. I agree, the division of colors seems odd, with a total of four colors between individual and alliance rewards for the top bracket, I would have expected an even split.
In any event, I see this one as being way more towards the 1300 progression reward for Fury. Wonder how high the alliance scores will go this time? Even with the recent scaling back promise from X-Men and others, that progression reward will likely lure the members that normally stop around 800 to get the extra 500 points for the cover.
This morning I found I had 2 defensive wins against the same player, +60 points or so. During my early morning clear of the essential nodes in the “Give me a Beast, please” tournament I got a 3rd defensive win, another 32 points, from him again. Are so few people playing this that I appear so often in someone’s queue?
I only had one set of seed teams when I started. After that, it was nothing but players. Not sure what they did but I normally end up with 2-3 sets if I start at the beginning.
Did you close the game any time after getting seed teams and beginning play? Whatever teams you have in your nodes will stay there, but the ones behind that vanish once the game is closed and reopened.
