Not sure what might have been the cause, but I have the battle log screens to prove it…

Gideon’s Intervention causes your creatures not to deal damage. No damage, no lifelink.
I’ve also seen reports that using Alhammaret’s Archive will cause lifelink to stop working, in case you used that.
