I know it’s a little late since ultron is finished, but I don’t make it on here often and still wanted to share…
It’s possible.
Most of my wins were with IMHB, Fist, and XFW(320)
but I did this once to show it was possible.

Completing Ultron round 8 with 5*, 4* or even 3* rosters is easy.
What you accomplish is imho the real challenge.

Nice. Adamantium to mitigate random matches, polarity shift to accelerate shields, slow whittling with said shields, proper board control with precision. I relied on 3* Steve and Iron Man, with Goblin’s passive to protect the countdown tiles. Seeing your screenshots makes me wish I’d tried it once I hit max progress.

Still, I bet a skyfall matches (and especially match-5s) from Ultron would be pretty much devastate a 2* instantly in round 8?
Not quite instantly, but it did cause some damage. Almost lost Magneto.

I beat Ultron during it’s first run with 2* Thor, Cap and MNMags.. ah memories of 2* Land. It’s difficult but possible. Awesome work!
Now, who will top this and try 1*?
Wow, nice, mag’s blue set at 5 destroys the entire board. Once you had enough blue to fire it (thank you purple) you didn’t have to worry about advancing bombs at all. That is a brilliant team.

How long did the battle take?
I was using Lazy Cap/IM40/GSBW all at L110 to beat him in the final round and battles were taking on the order of 10+ minutes because I needed to plan my moves well when things got dicey.

And here I was thinking that doing it with Psylock, Squirrel Girl, and 2*Daken was impressive. Good job!
The best part for me is that you used Bullseye’s bonus damage for the win (and at Lvl 3 
, no less! Try it at Lvl 5 next time!). There are probably many who thought that just getting the bonus damage was impossible. Very Impressive!
On initially release of the event, before most of the character updates, we were hitting max progression in round 8 of ultron with 2*.
It just takes time… Especially when baby cap was boosted first time out and he was last man standing.
