Unable to buy gold, won't connect & blip issues-Android

I am currently unable to purchase gold. This is very perturbing, as I have rare characters about to expire. A screen pops up instructing me to check my connection. My connection is great, I have 43.6 mbps & am less than 5 feet from my router. Please advise.

In addition, the game will freeze & close itself. When this happens, it does not reopen the current game. It acts as if you resigned, resulting in an exorbitant amount of hp drainage. Again not a wifi issue.

Make sure you can connect to the Google Play Store, check for MPQ update and/or software update for your device by going to “About device” in your phone settings (there’s also an android OS update rolling out to certain devices and carriers).
