Of course it’s the Hood event where I have been stuck with a 5/4/4 for awhile.. to make matters worse, his Blue cover in DDQ comes the day AFTER this event ends..

Ditto. It eluded me a while back in a Blade PVP. Demiurge gave one to me instead of someone who didn’t make it into our PVE alliance b/c of something bugged with the alliance. When I notified them that they gave it to the wrong person, they asked me to send proof of deleting it before they’d give it to the right person, so I did. Was at 5/3/3 for a long time before I pulled a 4th not too long ago. My dupe is 0/0/3. Haven’t really used his black on offense but will once I have 5 black.

Of course it’s the Hood event where I have been stuck with a 5/4/4 for awhile.. to make matters worse, his Blue cover in DDQ comes the day AFTER this event ends..

2 IF purples will complete my 3/3/5 dupe. Sucks that Hood blue was T5 for Thor and Hood yellow is at 800. My Hood dupe is 4/3/5, and besides IF, has been the most difficult to cover. Going for 3/5/5, so the DDQ will only take him to 4/4/5. Guess it balances out when Hood blue was T100 reward way back.

recently sold fist, thor, and jean dupes for new characters. I just can’t justify the hp expense for the minimal benefit they’d provide. fist was progressing ever so slowly and with jean and a progressing rulk, dupe fist is much less critical. thor was almost done but I just used him for trivials at level 55. 2 cover jean hurt a little but would take forever to get a dupe usable. by then it probably won’t matter (much like thor and fist). keeping a dupe hood and loki and that’s it for me. and because of a bug I can’t even use loki in his LRs (if I try to select the dupe, it switches to the loaner). we’ll see if it lets me use my dupe hood in his pvp, not that that will help anything.

Your Hood dupe 355 or 553? I made a second Hood at 355 for countdown support. Mainly Kingpin. Took months to build that second Hood and as I was leveling him, I realized Kingpin’s finger is black. So he sits and rots. I’ll probably change him to 553.

working towards a second 5/5/3. once blue ddq day coming up, I’ll be able to max my main one and my other one will end up at either 94 or 120 for pve mostly.

Any tips on a time slice for high placement? Would love both IF covers to get him to 13 covers. Slice 1 was kind to me with ghost rider but I don’t have the time to play that one really.

Well.. I’m in slice 1, currently shielded at 5th with 1061 with 222 Hood/240 Thor and 240 KK (slightly different builds to yours, but levels wise are the same. Points were scarce when I did my climb, so I already shield hopped once. Top 2 are at 1300ish, but I haven’t seen any members of the top alliances except the ones from the whale alliance.

There were plenty of people already shielded from around the 25th position with high 600s, which was the highest I could float without being attacked. After that the climb to mid 900s was limited by the lack of targets and health packs. One bad board and a combination of Hood and Jean will decimate our team within several turns. I didn’t want to get attacked later and lose all my progress, so I decided to shield. After finding 2 targets, I broke my my shield and hopped to where I am now. Maybe I could’ve timed my shields better, but I think with trying to maintain my position in The Hulk, spending a bit more on shields is an acceptable compromise.

I’d say, if you want to try slice 1 for the top 25 placement rewards, the best chance would be either to start now or to snipe a fresh bracket tomorrow.. I’d probably try a different slice.

One of my hardest PVEs. Seems like everyone want to have Iron Fist.

PvP is definitely taking a turn for the worse now that I’m smack in the middle of being iso-poor. I’ve been “lucky” and rostered all 3 5s, but now in spite of having 0 maxed 4s I am seeing them almost exclusively during my climb. JeanBusters to the left of me, Rulklops to the right…

I remember when having maxed boosted 3*s made the climb possible and generally was solid for defense. Now Thor, BP, and KK are all laughed off. If I didn’t need that black HB, I would have probably settled in around 800.

Rough event. Iron Fist doesn’t look a lot better, but I do enjoy those boosted characters. Lots of fun options.

I’m in slice 5, 755 pts is ~30th. I joined late and points are scarce, but placement will be very easy. If I can get purple from t100 and from alliance t100, I’ll have 13 covers, and then DDQ’s cover in a couple weeks will put me at ideal build. I’m going to go as hard as I can on this pvp (not THAT hard since my roster isn’t that strong) because I need those fist covers!
