Let’s try this again! Here’s one that should be fun and shouldn’t break immediately (unlike Hotpool’s strike tile):

How many Emperor’s Wrath points can you get on Namor (Phoenix Five)?

We know now the technical maximum (2 billion) but let’s see what’s achievable before tile destruction downs the enemy.

This is hard without a puzzle gauntlet running! Namor’s counter continues to increment if he is dead though, so if you have some sort of “send them away” capability you could probably do a decent job. So far i’ve tried to get a 2* ascended to 4* Magneto going, and Wiccan, but all the nodes available to me with health-ful enemies are too strong for them to last.

best I’ve been able to do so far is like 45 or so

Found a rocket/polaris team on the Namor event and brought an ascended Sabretooth with Colossus.

Tried ascended Medusa and sabretooth against another rocket/polaris and got here:

5mags onslaught. mag blue > namor green and red untill everything is dead.
nuke-wise, still less damage than a 3/4may+vision+5kang, vision yellow/blue > kang purple :slight_smile:

anyone try anything especially novel to keep enemies alive, like sending them Away with Kang?

I used 5* Vulture/Namor/Shang-Chi is the cheat code for this, but it isn’t very efficient. Drag someone airborne with 5* vulture and then use Shang-Chi to kill the other two, just make sure to leave the countdown alive. You can use Namor’s green or red if you have a surplus, but I did it on a team with boosted strange, who i threw airborne, and when he landed he would flames of faltine my unleveled Namor, and once he died it stopped incrementing the counter. But you could do this as long as you have the patience. Chase match-4 or linear match-5 if you want to maximize destruction with Shang, it doesn’t count regular matches.

The integer overflow on the variable type the game uses for value of strikes and protects … 2^31, or 2,147,483,648

Don’t know if the same applies to this variable … 2billion tiles destroyed … could take a while to test!

Stopped just over 1200 but here’s an infinite:

Darkveil, Free Aquaman5, Storm5 (or any board shaker really, Nighcralwer4 might be best if you can keep him alive)

  • Target a team with Strange if you want it to truly be infinite
  • Start with some AP to speed things up
  • Recommend Krakoa and Car for safety at beginning
  • Target Strange so he sends himself away first, then throw Darks yellow
  • Kill / alternate sending away and killing the other 2 baddies
  • Once it’s just Strange left throw Darks yellow, Strange will counter and send himself away without taking damage
  • While strange is away board shuffle all of your other abilities without him taking damage
  • Repeat the last 2 steps to your liking

Got as high as 9. I think my Namor is defective :rofl:

well, w/o resorting to troll-y teams, I have managed to repeatedly raise my ‘high score’ … 18 … 48 … 65 … 112 … 205 …

Took about 25 mins to get to 3,055. Due to boredom, I can’t recommend going beyond.
