With the release of Deathlok (Michael Collins), we’ll be making another round of Affiliations updates! This time around we’ll be making updates to characters who are:
Technologists - Characters that use high technology to do battle
Synthetic - Characters that are synthetic beings (Androids/Robots/etc). Biologically created beings (like Adam Warlock) are not considered Synthetic
Here are the characters that will be updated!
5-Stars
Big Wheel - Villains, Street Level, Technologists
Doctor Octopus - Villains, Sinister Six, Team Iron Man, Geniuses, Technologists
Rescue - Heroes, Avengers, Technologists
Ultron - Villains, Synthetic, Non-humans
Wasp - Heroes, Champions, Red Room, Technologists, Pym Tech
Yellowjacket - Villains, Technologists, Pym Tech
4-Stars
Agent Coulson - Heroes, S.H.I.E.L.D., Team Cap, Technologists
Ant-Man - Heroes, Avengers, Team Cap, Technologists, Pym Tech
Nebula would be a technologist as she is a cybernetically advanced alien but she is biological born not artificially created.
Beta Ray Bill is also a technologist in his original alien form as he was also cybernetically enhanced to be the greatest warrior of his race but I guess as he is in his “Thor” form in the game it probably hasn’t been applied.
Doc Ock does join Iron Man’s team sort of in the comic book version of Civil War so he can hunt down heroes but we seem to be using the movie one? I would still call it a stretch to call him Team Iron Man as he rejects joining the Thunderbolts and ends up in SHIELD jail. So if we are using the MCU then 4* Ock would be the one who has a very tenuous link to IM as he absorbs Stark Tech from Spidey in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Prowler? I’m not sure which one we have? Is he Marvel Comics or Sony Spider Verse version?
Did I miss something? What are these new affiliations good for? Are there powers refering those affiliations (like 5* Iron Man does take team iron man members into consideration) or supports that can only be eqipped to a “technologist”?

I don’t recall doctor octopus or Prowler being overly involved either…

Sonyverse prowler looked like purple Spawn with a big old cape, so I don’t think that’s what we have here.
That’s some interesting info about Nebula. My memory of her is seeing her getting split opened by Thanos and then her robotic parts got separated until Gamora interfered.
