So we decided to go down a parallel route with Prowler. He’d still steal tiles, but improve them much more, making the overall strength equal to anything Polaris can put out at equivalent levels (well, barring cascades, but you can’t have everything). Meanwhile, against enemies that put out little to no SAP tiles, Prowler had a very difficult time keeping up this pressure while Polaris could do it with friendly tiles. So we now have him auto-creating enemy tiles that next turn he’ll fortify and can then steal and improve. Similar effect, different package and use cases.

The Tinkerer’s electrified gadgets pack a punch, but only if Prowler can figure out how to use them. Deals 361 damage and stuns the targeted enemy for 1 turn. If your team has more total Strike, Attack, or Protect tiles than the enemy team, also deals 259 damage to all other enemies.

First, lower the cost. Easy! Second, raise the strength of the created Strike tiles. Simple enough, more usefulness on each use of the ability. Third, push the Invisibility increase to level 4, so it’s more generally useful without needing to be a 5 point ability.
Lastly, we added a quick rider to the ability that we didn’t actually balance or cost but helps his overall kit. This gets his Purple started at the beginning of the battle kind of like Rocket and Groot, only with more petty theft.
