Got the latest update in hopes you fixed the lag/freezing/connection issues. Now the game just freezes as soon as I start a match. Tried everything in the “Dealing With Yet Another Update The Ruins The Game” list that rarely helps.
So when are you going to fix this so I can play again?
Prior to the update my game would freeze/crash about every other match. After the update it now crashes on the character loading screen or early in the start of a match.
One of the recent updates deleted my entire account and roster.
CS response: These are normal issues all players are experiencing.
To be fair, crashes are normal issues at this point.
When I updated to iOS 26, the game now basically freezes my entire phone about once a day. After a minute or so my phone unfreezes. The app then starts to flicker like I’m at a rave and I need to close it and restart as it’s completely frozen.
iOS user here. Can confirm. Latest version seems to crash even more for me on than the versions before which already weren’t stable, to put it mildly.
updated my ipad os to latest version, didn’t help. freed up more space (sometimes this seems to help struggling apps), nope. Hard turn off my device for a cold reboot, nope.
Sometimes it holds out a few matches. Other times it crashes during the 1st play after a restart.

Did they restore your account?
Yes. Although I am not a massive fan of CS lately, I will give them credit here; I was fully restored within 24 hours.
The problem I’m having is it freezes but then i can’t quit/close the game or even turn my phone off. I just have to wait until the app decides to exit itself. The whole process of ‘crashing’ can take about 10 minutes! Playing on iPhone 15 pro with uptodate iOS.
