I just wanted to pass along that three years later, my brother passed away yesterday. Thank you to all of the alliances, developers, community leaders, and those playing who helped Chris over the last three years. He played as long as he was physically able and appreciated all of those who were considerate and kind with his playing time and ability. I have moved on from the game myself, but wanted to post an update to anyone who remembered/may be wondering. Thank you.

Lovely that the game could help someone in that way and make their last days more enjoyable. My condolences to you and your family.
Very sorry to hear about your loss. We appreciate the update, and it is uplifting to know he far exceeded the time the doctors said he had remaining. It’s also comforting to know this community was able to provide some support for him and, hopefully, for you as well. We wish you and your family nothing but the best during this sad time.

I unfortunately was not around to get the chance to meet your brother, but it sounds like Christopher was certainly an amazing guy, and it warms my heart to hear that Marvel Puzzle Quest and its community has helped him through such difficult times.
I want to send my sincerest condolences to you and your family, and wish you all everlasting joy from the fond memories I’m sure he has given everyone. Here’s to hoping he’s having a grand old time talking about comic book characters with Stan Lee
