Here is an update from the developer effective starting tomorrow:
“Starting on August 2nd, Lightning Round placement rewards that normally reward Lightning Round Tokens will now reward Heroic Tokens. The Iso-8 earned from Rank 25 and better will now reward 1,000 Iso-8 (Up from 500).”
